energy battery storage system

A battery is a source of electric power consisting of one or more electrochemical cells with external connections for powering electrical devices. When a battery is supplying power, its positive terminal is the cathode and its negative terminal is the anode.

In solar systems, common batteries are divided into lead-acid batteries and lithium batteries. Lead-acid batteries are batteries in which the electrodes are mainly made of lead and the electrolyte is a sulfuric acid solution. The principle of lead-acid batteries is to convert chemical energy and direct current energy into each other, and then recover after being discharged and charged, thereby achieving the effect of repeated use. Lead-acid batteries may produce flammable hydrogen gas when charged at too high a voltage and overcharged.

A lithium-ion battery is a rechargeable battery that relies primarily on the movement of lithium ions between the positive and negative electrodes to work. They are one of the most common types of rechargeable batteries in portable electronic devices, with high energy density, no memory effect, and only slow charge loss when not in use. Increasingly advanced lithium-ion batteries are becoming more popular, and lithium iron phosphate batteries are becoming a common alternative to lead-acid batteries.

Lead-acid batteries are larger in shape and volume than lithium batteries. Lithium batteries have a longer service life than lead-acid batteries. Under normal circumstances, the service life of lithium batteries can be up to five years, while the life of lead-acid batteries can be relatively short, up to about three years, and this is still under the condition of proper maintenance. Lead-acid batteries are greatly affected by electricity. Overcharging will cause damage to the battery and affect the service life of the lead-acid battery.

The only advantage of lead-acid batteries is that they are cheaper than lithium batteries in terms of price, lithium batteries have good heat dissipation and battery life functions, and their shell packaging materials are excellent and tightly sealed. Naturally, the price of lithium batteries will be much more expensive than that of lead-acid batteries. Lithium batteries can be said to be a major upgrade in the battery industry. They are not only compact in design and easy to carry, but also environmentally friendly. They have become a hot topic nowadays.

Anygaps series battery

All our batteries use LiFePO4, which ensures safety to a great extent. About battery, we recommend you EGB series, which include: Low voltage battey: EGB48100PB/ EGB48200PB and High voltage stacking battery.

Low voltage battey: EGB48100PB/ EGB48200PB

EGB48100PB’ capacity is 5.12Kwh, EGB48200PB’ capacity is 10.24Kwh. Both the two low voltage battery’s rated voltage are 51.2V, volatage range are 42~58.4V, and depth of discharge up tp 90%, have multiple protection include over voltage/ over charge/ over temperature/ short circuit protection.

Anygap stacking battery EGB series

It is a high voltage battery that offers multiple energy storage options through an expandable modular design, it combined 2-8 modules, which further simplifies installation. The safest battery cell technologu(LFP) comes with a high charging rate, ensuring superior performance and supplying robust power for daily life.
